Kolb Breakfast Book Club provides a unique opportunity to spark an interest in reading and to foster a lifelong enjoyment in our students. The Book Club is open to students of all reading abilities in grades DK/K through 5th.
In-person BBC meetings will take place in the Kolb Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), once a month on a Thursday (9/28, 10/26, 11/16, 12/21, 1/25, 2/22, 3/28, 4/25, 5/23). Doors open at 7:20 AM for the students to enjoy breakfast, before commencing book discussions at 7:40am. Parent volunteers will escort each grade-level group to their classroom lineups around 8:05/8:10 AM and later times for DK and K.
The participation cost is $120 per child and includes breakfast and books; we are also aiming to have some guest authors join us for BBC during the school year.
